This BOF will discuss whether topics from Bayesian inference **ought** to be included in a first college-level stats course. If so, which topics and how those topics **can** be feasibly taught. Immanuel Kant, a contemporary of Bayes, famously said, "ought implies can." So perhaps our discussion should start with the "can" part of the problem, because can't implies oughtn't.
