Our campus recently began a Data Analytics major which involves information science, computer science, mathematics, and statistics courses. The Data Analytics Practicum is one of the required courses. Its purpose is to prepare students for internship experiences. Colleagues and I recently used a survey of industries and organizations to develop and implement a practicum course. We developed a set of modules for the course. We are also using student feedback to help modify the course in the future. What stories and advice would you like to share about similar experiences with your school and students?
