CAUSE Research has been revitalized within this last year, and we’ve been busy. The mission of CAUSE Research is to promote and support the advancement of statistics and data science education research. In support of the mission, a CAUSE Research Satellite meeting was held after USCOTS 2021 to build community among statistics education researchers and identify how CAUSE can better support statistics education research. The meeting identified the need to connect researchers from diverse disciplines, to disseminate resources related to statistics and data science education research, and to advocate for the value and impact of such research as important future goals for CAUSE Research. The presentation will discuss recent progress and future initiatives by CAUSE Research to address these goals. We’ll also share opportunities to get involved.
