Fri 09: Evaluating curriculum

Julie Neisler, Roxy Peck

Information

This discussion will focus on research designed to measure the impact of curricular change at the course-level. We will share information on research related to the implementation of new learner-centered courseware for introductory statistics that aims to increase student success and eliminate race and income as significant predictors of student outcomes. The research examines factors that influence student success, including instructional practices and student motivation. Join us to learn more about this research, how you might participate, and to discuss your successes and challenges in efforts to improve statistics teaching and learning and in assessing the impact of curricular change.
