Standards-based grading! Mastery-based grading! Contract grading! Ungrading! There are a variety of alternatives to the traditional grading scheme employed in the majority of college classes. In this session, we will discuss alternative grading schemes as they apply to statistics and data science courses. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences using these alternative strategies and discuss potential grading strategies for improving learning outcomes in Statistics and Data Science education.
