Information

Data becomes more real for students when they collect it and/or analyze it themselves. What kind of data have your students collected? What kind of analyses have they run on the data? How do you ensure that students are accurately learning from the data collection and analysis experience? An example will be given in an Introduction to Biostatistics class in which students analyze their own survey data about their sleep quality and other health behaviors.
