By Kim Druschel, Sadita Salihovic, Mike May, and Katie Radler, Saint Louis University

Information

This poster focuses on projects used in a partially-flipped consumer-based statistics course for nursing, physical therapy, and other health science students. Projects are primarily section/chapter-end projects involving medicare hospital data and Hospital Compare, a medicare website where heath care consumers can view and compare multiple performance measures of hospitals. We discuss some measures of students perceptions and performance as well as perceptions of the graduate student and  adjunct instructors who are implementing this course. This study is supported by two IRBs.
