Information

Through NSF grant #1612201, we have been developing a second course in statistics that focuses on variation explained and conceptual intuition for multivariable relationships. Our goal is to apply many of the lessons learned in the first course in recent years (e.g., active learning, student-friendly applets, simulation-based inference, use of genuine case studies) to an algebra-based course for non-majors. In this poster, we will present an overview of the curriculum and preliminary class testing results, and pose questions for future development
