Abstract

What does data visualization look like for future our middle and high school classrooms? This session will discuss preservice teachers’ ability to visualize data through a set of seven tasks developed from graphical representations in AP-Statistics Exam released items. Tasks targeted different content and pedagogical knowledge, providing insight across Statistical Knowledge for Teaching Categories of preservice teachers. Participants in this session will discuss the seven tasks, results from the study, and preservice teacher beliefs about each task in this multimethod study.
