At many liberal arts colleges, statistics courses are offered within departments of mathematics. In such a setting, what are the best practices for promoting statistics in the curriculum. How can/should concentrations/minors/majors be structured? What are the issues that are specific to working within this framework, and how can statisticians ensure success in offering the right set of a courses for a program?
