Abstract
Clickers (personal response systems) provide, most importantly, frequent prompts for all students to actively engage with the material as it is being presented. They also can be used as an engaging way to promote discussion, review or summarize a class, assess students in both formative and summative ways, illustrate concepts, collect data for class analysis, gather simulation results, gauge class opinions, arouse curiosity, and more! This talk will discuss a variety of ways in which clickers can be used to engage everyone in statistics courses.
