Abstract
In this workshop we will use the free, online CODAP software to explore, visualize, and analyze data with an emphasis on data science practice. Topics will include data munging, exploring GIS data, making and use hierarchical data structures, bootstrapping, and using CODAP in a general statistics course. We’ll discuss the impact the advent of data science is having on statistics education and think together about integration of data science across the curriculum.
