Abstract
For statistics and data science educators, the growing field of sports analytics provides ample opportunity to leverage accessible sports data and questions of interest in the classroom. The SCORE Network is an NSF-funded project that is building a national community of educators, industry professionals, and media personalities in sports. A key component of this endeavor is to create a publicly accessible repository of educational content that connects interesting sports-related questions and datasets to topics covered in statistics and data science classes. This session will provide an overview of the different ways participants can contribute content to the network, including the module submission and review process, submitting sports data to a growing repository, and discussing other ways to engage with the network’s content dissemination.
