Abstract
This interactive session introduces the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot to create visual metaphors that support statistics literacy among college-level second-language learners. These students often struggle with abstract or text-heavy instruction due to language barriers. Using AI to generate images, educators can make statistical concepts more visual, accessible and engaging. The session will begin on how to prompt these tools, followed by small group activities where participants co-design visual aids for topics like sampling or variation. The goal is to offer a practical, inclusive approach that supports learner understanding and fosters discovery. WITHDRAWN
