In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, the eCOTS regional conference at Ohio State will be replaced by a virtual meeting following our original theme. If you sign up for this regional conference when you register for eCOTS you will be put on a list to receive the zoom link to attend our virtual event which will occur from 12 to 3 p.m. on Friday May 22nd.

The CAUSE regional eCOTS conference at the Ohio State University will be held on virtually Friday May 22 from 12 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Zoom. The guest speaker will be Jeff Witmer, current editor of the Journal of Statistics Education, from Oberlin College. The theme will be the "State of Statistics Education" and we will explore current topics in the area such as directions in content (including simulation based teaching), software (including a discussion on R), and pedagogy (including the updated GAISE guidelines). Participants will engage in open discussions, question/answer, and debates in these areas and more.
