The Statistics faculty at Truman are dedicated to excellent teaching and building connections with students not just in our program, but across campus, including a required introductory statistics course for all undergraduates. One position is targeted with a data science focus. This is a potentially remote, 11-month position with expected summer coursework and master's thesis advising. The position is expected to be at the rank of Assistant Professor. The position is a renewable one-year, full-time appointment on an 11-month contract with annual renewal depending on performance, departmental needs, and funding. Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate statistics and data science courses and graduate data science courses offered by the Department of Statistics, mentor Master's students, and perform other duties as assigned.
