Dear SBI listserv participants and SBI blog readers,
Hello again!
To provide you with some fun reading for the upcoming weekend, we have very recently
posted several new articles on the Simulation-based Inference blog
(
https://www.causeweb.org/sbi/):
1) We have a new post under "The hardest part about getting started" by Kim
Gilbert. Her piece is titled, "Who says you can't teach an old dog new
tricks."
2) George Cobb and Tisha Hooks have written two posts addressing the question "Why
continue to teach normal-based methods?" George's article is titled, "Why
even bother to teach the normal stuff?" and Tisha's article is titled "Are
normal-based methods 'smothering' our students' understanding of
inference?"
3) And, I have added a post under "Using real data." This article is titled
"Strategies to find real data from genuine studies."
On behalf of the ISI team, I'd like to thank all our blog contributors for writing
these pieces for us, and you, our readers for reading these. Please let us know your
thoughts and ideas on the various posts by leaving comments, suggestions, etc. on our
blog.
I hope you enjoy reading these articles, and others posted on the blog, as much as I do!
Also, thanks for contributing to our discussion on "Favorite assessment/exam
questions." The responses are archived here:

Wish you a very nice weekend!
