(Assistant Professor – Educator)
The Carl H. Lindner College of Business, Department of Operations, Business Analytics, and
Information Systems (OBAIS), invites applications for non-tenure-track positions at the
level of Assistant Professor - Educator. Essential Functions are to teach undergraduate
and graduate courses in subjects such as business analytics, regression models, data
analysis methods, data wrangling, simulation methods, and data visualization. Prior to
effective date of appointment, the candidate must have Master's degree in Business
Analytics, Statistics, or related field, at least one academic term of college level
teaching in business analytics and at least one year of experience utilizing one of the
following analytic tools: R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, or Excel. Review of applications

Smith College Statistical & Data Sciences 2021 Tenure Track Hiring
1. Assistant Professor of Statistical & Data Sciences
The Statistical & Data Sciences Program at Smith College invites applications for a
tenure-track position in Biostatistics at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin July
1, 2022. Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a closely-related discipline is expected
by the time of appointment. Candidates from any field in Biostatistics are encouraged to
apply. The position has a teaching load of 2:2 -- i.e., four semester-long courses over
the academic year. Teaching responsibilities for this position will regularly include
introductory statistics, as well as intermediate and advanced-level courses in their area
of interest, for example multiple regression, design and analysis, and public health.

2. Assistant Professor of Statistical, Mathematical, and Data Sciences
The Program in Statistical & Data Sciences and Department of Mathematics &
Statistics at Smith College jointly invite applications for a tenure-track position at the
rank of Assistant Professor, to begin July 1, 2022. Ph.D. in Statistics or a relevant
field is expected by the time of appointment. Candidates should have a strong foundation
in both mathematics and statistics and candidates with experience in Bayesian statistics,
high-dimensional data analysis, and machine learning are particularly encouraged to apply.
