The Millersville University Department of Mathematics welcomes applicants for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor position specializing in statistics beginning August 2023. Responsibilities include teaching, advising students, scholarly work and department and university service. Actual assignments will depend upon department needs and may include courses offered in the day, evening and/or weekend, and online. The department, housed in Wickersham Hall, is comprised of sixteen full-time faculty members, one regular part-time faculty member, and one support staff member. The Department of Mathematics, in the College of Science and Technology, has approximately 170 undergraduate major/minor students, and all majors are assigned to the full-time faculty members within the program for course advising and program mentoring. The department offers B.A., B.S. and B.S.E. degrees in mathematics with options in statistics, actuarial science, and applied mathematics, as well as an M.Ed. degree in mathematics education.
