CAUSE/IASE Developing Countries Textbook Program

CAUSE is working with IASE to identify schools in developing countries in need of modern statistics textbooks for their students and match them with commercial publishers able to donate books. We are pleased to announce that Key Curriculum Press and Key College Publishing have just made the first shipment in this program and have donated approximately $40,000 worth of new textbooks to South African schools suggested by the South African Statistical Association. Kudos to Mike Simpson and the team at Key College Publishing for their generous support of this worthy program. Also thanks to Delia North of the University of KwaZulu-Natal for heading up the distribution effort in South Africa.
